Using this website
You may use this website for your own, lawful purposes. You must not misuse it: for example, try to gain unauthorised access, interfere with how it works, introduce viruses, or collect information from it by automated means without our permission.
We try to keep the website available and its information accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that it will always be available, error-free or complete. We may change or remove content at any time.
Our content
The text, images, logos, videos and design of this website belong to us or to those who licensed them to us, and are protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own use. Please do not copy, publish or use them for other purposes without our permission.

Our website may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they use your information.
Bookings
You can book on our website, by phone, by email or in person. Your booking is confirmed when we send you a confirmation. Please give us accurate details, and tell us before your appointment about anything that may affect your treatment, including health conditions, allergies or medication.
Payment. Some bookings are paid in full when you book.
Changing or cancelling. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment, so we can offer the time to someone else. If you cancel with less notice, or do not attend, we may keep your deposit, because we will usually be unable to fill the time. If we have to cancel or move your appointment, we will tell you as soon as possible and offer you a new time or a full refund of anything you have paid.
Arriving late. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late we may need to shorten your appointment so the next client is not delayed, or rebook it.
Your legal right to cancel. If you book online, by phone or by email as a consumer, you also have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of the booking, without giving a reason. If your appointment is within those 14 days, you ask us to provide the service before the 14 days end; if you then cancel before the appointment, you do not pay for it, and the cancellation terms above only apply once the 14 days have ended. After a treatment has been fully carried out, you can no longer cancel it. This right does not apply to bookings made in person at our premises.
Buying from us
Orders. The steps to place an order are shown on our website, and you can correct any mistakes before you confirm. We will confirm your order by email; the contract is made when we send that confirmation. We may refuse an order, for example if an item is out of stock or its price was clearly wrong, and will refund anything you paid.
Prices and payment. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.
Your right to cancel. As a consumer you can cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason. For goods, the 14 days start on the day you (or someone you name) receive them; for services and digital content, on the day the contract is made. To cancel, tell us clearly, for example by email to reception@whisperingwoodspa.co.uk. We will refund you, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of your cancellation, using the payment method you used.
The right to cancel does not apply to items made to your specifications or personalised, items that go off quickly, sealed hygiene or health items unsealed after delivery, or services fully carried out during the 14 days at your request. If you ask us to start a service during the 14 days and then cancel, you pay for what we provided before you cancelled.
Our responsibility to you
If we fail to keep to these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable. Our services are provided with reasonable care and skill. If you use our website or services for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your legal rights as a consumer.

Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your own country's courts.
General
We may update these terms; the version on this page when you use the website or place your booking or order applies. If a court decides that part of these terms is invalid, the rest continue to apply. These terms are available in English.
